I tutor mathematics at high school and middle school levels. Lessons are mainly virtual. In person lessons (in covered outdoors area) are also an option.
My students have been from Gunn and Palo Alto and Los Altos High School and Fletcher and Greene Middle School.
Geometry, Algebra1 and 2, Analysis, Pre-calculus, Calculus and Statistics are some of the subjects that I teach.
I have an undergraduate degree in mathematics from the University of
Michigan in Ann Arbor and a masters degree in computer science from Cornell University.
I used to be a software engineer but in 2006 decided to become a stay at home Mom and tutor math. Teaching mathematics is my passion. I take great interest in encouraging students to excel in math. When children understand the math concepts, instead of just memorizing them, math becomes fun and their performance improves.
